Skin Lightening Lotion for black skin

Black Skin is a nuisance for adolescents and adults because it makes them self-conscious at every step in life.

Dark skin can be lightened up with the help of good skin lightening lotion. The main question that comes to the mind is ‘how to choose a good skin lightening lotion for black skin?’. The answer to it is very simple. Look for the product that does not contain the following items:

1.) Hydroquinone (the most dangerous skin bleaching agent that acts as a carcinogen)
2.) Steroids
3.) Mercury
4.) Artificial Colours

These substances have been banned in many countries, but one should be careful while selecting a skin lightening cream. The main ingredients that one should look for in a product include Vitamin E Oil (acts as an antioxidant), Vitamin B3 (improves elasticity of the skin), Licorice extract (reduces pigmentation), Glycolic and salicylic Acid (removes spots and lightens the skin), spot deacti-complex (brightens the skin), Lemon extracts (moisturises the skin), Vitamin C (lightens the skin), Alpha hydoxy acid (ex-foliates the skin). All these ingredients are available in a variety of products. One will never find all these essentials in a single product. One should always look for a combination of lightening agents, ex-foliating agents, and antioxidants. One must always choose a trusted brand in this case.

The correct way to use this kind of product on your skin is to apply it directly and rub until it is absorbed completely by the skin. It would be a waste of time if one doesn’t rub it in a proper circular motion for deep penetration of the essential ingredients. This process can be repeated twice a day and one can stop using the product once the skin is lightened to the desired tone. Apply a good moisturizer after washing off the cream and massage the face. This washes away all traces of lightening agents and improves blood circulation. Consistency matters the most in all the cases of skin lightening lotion for black skin.

Precautions that are to be taken while using skin lightening lotions for black skin:

1.) Check the cream for any possible side effects. Apply a small amount on different parts of the skin and observe for 24 hours. Do not use it if inflammation or irritation occurs.
2.) Remove all the makeup prior to applying any lotion on your facial skin. Wash it properly with water.
3.) Do not forget to moisturize the skin because lightening parts are generally dried up due to the bleaching action of the cream.
4.) Avoid going out in sunlight after applying lightening formula on your skin. If it is urgent then apply a thick coat of sunscreen lotion on the lightened part.
5.) Sit inside an AC room for about 1 hour as a precaution against darkening of the skin.
6.) Do not expose the skin to lightening products for more than 20 minutes. It may damage the skin.
7.) Do not bleach the area of skin where glycolic acid and alpha-hydroxy are applied.
8.) In spite of all the precautions, if there is a burning sensation or rash appearance on the face or any part of the body, gently rub pure coconut oil over it.
9.) Alternatively, rub ice over the affected area for 10 to 15 minutes.
